At least 14 people were crushed to death under a train at Udhna district in Gujarat on Wednesday night, Railway police said. Bodies of victims, including two women and two children, were spotted besides the track by the driver of another train, they said. The driver of 'Flying Rani', which runs between Surat and Mumbai, immediately informed the authorities about the incident, Railway Police Inspector H M Patel told PTI.

Zakia Jafri, the wife of former Congress MP Ehsan Jafri who was killed in the 2002 Gujarat riots, died on Saturday in Ahmedabad at the age of 86.
